Ambleside Music Festival is an annual open-air festival that takes place during the summer in Vancouver, BC. This exciting multi-genre event included notable acts such as The Offspring, Mother Mother, Marianas Trench, Walk Off the Earth, Charlotte Cardin and more. The festival included two stages of entertainment, food vendors and multiple media partners that helped promote the festival.

In a time of urgency, the host of the event – GSL Group, sought the expertise of Agency X. With only 2 months left until the festival, Agency X took charge as the prime marketing contractor for the festival, bringing the team to work in collaboration with various key members from GSL, contractors, brand management teams, media outlets and other vendors.

With the responsibility of managing the entire marketing scope for Ambleside Music Festival, the team swiftly hit the ground running by organizing all media commitments including scheduling, onsite responsibilities, ticket inquiries, brand promotion tracking, brand social media, social media contest winners and influencer marketing tracking.

One of the key successes of our marketing approach was the impressive 256% return on investment (ROI) achieved on social ad spend. This was coupled with a significant increase in the festival’s Instagram following, which rose by 171% thanks to our social media marketing efforts. In addition, we created over 250 pieces of original content including videos, photos, billboards, digital and print ads, on-site material, and more.
